Job Description:
• Oversee the school campus.
• Plan for and execute the continuous growth of the campus.
• Read and respond to teaching and non-teaching staff term report.
• Monitor student, teaching and non-teaching staff opinion survey and result.
• Prepare teaching schedule.
• Monitor personnel management (staff details, staff requisition, CV shortlist, contract, timesheet check, leave check, monthly staff movement, salary addition and deduction, absence record, etc.)
• Establish and maintain professional and cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders: parents, students, staff, neighbors, and partners.
• Supervise school and public safety and school maintenance.
• Supervises the maintenance of student records, including assessment results, test scores, discipline citations, and other documents.
• Prepare and process field trip requests.
• Maintain and update school website regularly.
• Prepare and maintains purchase orders and other expense records; approve, and monitor expenditures and ensure expenditures are within budget allowances for the year.
• Prepare necessary forms to hire, upgrade, terminate or authorize special payments to staff.
• Recruit qualified and experienced teachers and staff.
• Plans, assigns, trains, and evaluate classified staff in accordance with school standards, timelines, and procedures.
• Plan the arrangements for school contests and events and community activities.
• Act as liaison between school and other schools, the parents, outside agencies, and the public.
• Develop, implement, and monitor work practices, systems, and methods that are effective, efficient, and consistent with school standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare annual school calendar and plan the arrangements for school contests and events and community activities.
• Promote and maintain a positive and effective school climate by ensuring that all interactions with staff, students, parents, and the public at large are prompt, efficient, helpful and friendly.
• Seek out and participate in educational and professional development.
• Recognize problems and impediment and report them promptly with solutions to the President
• Monitor and analyze student performance assessment data preparing reports as needed for various special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chairman and President
• Read all comments from the student opinion survey about their teachers and the school as a whole. Take actions on those comments where and when applicable.
• Read all comments or complaints sent by the Information Office. Solve them where and when applicable.
• Update all handbooks regularly, usually termly, based on the changes of the policies.
• Go and check each cafeteria twice per week in each building and write a report and then submit to the Office of the President every week.
• Do the CBC round as schedule.
• Get the P&L, CF, BS of each business and service units every month from Finance Department. Call for a meeting with those business and service units every month.
Job Requirements:
• Master degree in Education or related field
• Management experiences in education and related fields
• Excellent problem solving skills, and able to use initiative
• Ability to patiently work with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, religious views
• Ability to calmly manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• An approachable and friendly spirit, easy to smile and a can-do attitude
• Excellent computer skills with the MS Office Suite and proficient with Social Media
• Ability to understand and keep within a budget
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
