Job Description:

1. Content Development & Social Media Writing
1.1. Write Press-releases about AIS achievements, student/staff highlights, and events.
1.2. Write short-form articles about AIS achievements, student/staff highlights, and events.
1.3. Transcribe content from the Marketing Manager into structured articles, announcements, and reports.
1.4. Write & edit captions for AIS social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
1.5. Ensure content aligns with AIS branding, tone, and messaging.
1.6. Adapt writing style for different platforms (social media, website, print publications).
1.7. Develop campaigns that increases of subscribers and engagement in;
• Web
• Social Media Channels

2. Editorial & Publications Management
2.1. Collect, review, and edit articles from contributors (students, staff, teachers, alumni).
2.2. Oversee & proofread key school publications:
2.3. Newsletter (Quarterly, every 3 months - 3-4 newsletter)
2.4. Yearbook (Annual - 15 books every year
2.5. Magazine (Annual - 12 magazines every year)
2.6. Enforce Guidelines developed by Line Manager
2.7. Ensure grammar accuracy, consistency, and factual correctness before publishing.
2.8. Edit and proofread school marketing materials, including brochures, posters, and website updates.

3. Social Media & Digital Content Support
3.1. Manage and schedule captions for AIS’s social media content.
3.2. Review poster scripts and transcribed content to ensure clear, engaging messaging.
3.3. Ensure captions are optimized for social media trends and audience engagement.
3.4. Work with the Creatives & Media Team to ensure consistency between text & visuals.

4. Reporting & Administrative Tasks
4.1. Update weekly & monthly editorial reports (published articles, pending tasks, content analytics).
4.2. Support an editorial calendar to track deadlines for news articles, yearbooks, and magazines.
4.3. Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure timely reviews & approvals.

5. Execute tasks Assigned by Line Manager.

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in writing, content creation, editing, or social media management.
• Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and editorial style.
• Ability to write, edit, and proofread content across multiple platforms.
• Experience in editorial work (newsletters, magazines, digital publications).
• Familiarity with social media content writing & engagement strategies.
• Ability to rewrite & adapt content for different audiences & platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SEO writing, digital content optimization, and analytics.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects & deadlines.
