Job Description:

1. Event Planning and Coordination:
• Plan, organize, and execute events such as conferences, parties, corporate events, school events, and exhibitions…..
• Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and objectives for the event.
• Develop event proposals, timelines, and budgets.
2. Vendor and Supplier Management:
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors (e.g., caterers, decorators, technicians).
• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services and goods.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure the venue meets event requirements.
3. Logistics Management:
• Oversee event setup, breakdown, and logistics.
• Manage permits, licenses, and compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare contingency plans to address potential challenges or emergencies.
4. Team Collaboration:
• Supervise on-site staff and volunteers during events.
• Assign roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth execution.
• Foster effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
5. Budgeting and Reporting:
• Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency.
• Track expenses and prepare financial reports post-event.
• Collect feedback from clients and attendees to improve future events.
6. Marketing and Promotion (Optional):
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events via social media, emails, and other channels.
• Design promotional materials and coordinate media coverage when required.

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in event planning or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
