Job Description

1. Identify and participate in local and international education-tech conferences to showcase MMentor App and attract potential investors:
a. Research and identify relevant conferences, trade shows, and events in the education technology sector.
b. Coordinate logistics for participation, including registration, booth setup, and promotional materials.
c. Prepare presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of MMentor App to conference attendees.
d. Engage with conference attendees, including potential investors, educators, and industry professionals, to promote MMentor App and establish connections.
e. Follow up with leads and inquiries generated from conference participation to nurture potential partnerships and investment opportunities.

2. Establish and maintain partnerships with schools and universities through MOUs to promote MMentor App and recruit Mentors and Mentees:
a. Identify potential schools and universities for partnership based on relevance, reach, and alignment with MMentor’s goals.
b. Initiate discussions with school administrators or relevant stakeholders to propose partnerships and establish Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
c. Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to draft, review, and finalize partnership agreements.
d. Develop promotional materials and resources to support the recruitment of Mentors and Mentees within partner institutions.
e. Provide ongoing support and communication to partner schools to ensure effective implementation and utilization of MMentor App.

3. Collaborate with the IT and Marketing teams to manage the release of new program features, document usage processes, and coordinate marketing efforts for promotion:
a. Serve as a liaison between the IT and Marketing teams to facilitate communication and alignment on program development and promotion.
b. Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders to inform the development of new program features.
c. Work with the IT team to prioritize feature development based on user needs and market trends.
d. Document usage processes and create user guides or tutorials for new features to support seamless adoption.
e. Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials, including website updates, social media campaigns, and email newsletters.
f. Coordinate launch plans and timelines to ensure effective promotion of new program features to target audiences.

4. Develop and manage student brand ambassador programs in schools and universities to drive app adoption and growth:
a. Recruit and select student ambassadors from partner schools and universities based on criteria such as leadership skills, enthusiasm, and familiarity with MMentor App.
b. Provide training and resources to student ambassadors to educate them about MMentor App features, benefits, and promotional strategies.
c. Collaborate with student ambassadors to develop and implement campus outreach initiatives, including events, workshops, and promotional campaigns.
d. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student ambassador activities in driving app adoption and engagement.
e. Recognize and incentivize student ambassadors for their contributions to app growth and success.

5. Oversee timelines for feature development and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment between IT and Marketing teams:
a. Develop project timelines and milestones for feature development and promotional campaigns in collaboration with IT and Marketing teams.
b. Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to review progress, address any issues or obstacles, and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
c. Adjust timelines and priorities as needed to accommodate changes in project scope, resources, or external factors.
d. Communicate updates and changes to stakeholders and team members to ensure transparency and accountability.

6. Onboard new Mentors and provide them with orientation on app usage and features:
a. Develop an onboarding process for new Mentors to familiarize them with MMentor App functionality, policies, and best practices.
b. Create training materials, videos, or tutorials to guide Mentors through the registration process and usage of app features.
c. Provide personalized support and assistance to Mentors during the onboarding process to address any questions or concerns.
d. Follow up with Mentors to gather feedback and assess their experience with the onboarding process, making improvements as needed.

7. Monitor and analyze app performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement:
a. Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
b. Generate reports and dashboards to visualize app performance metrics and trends over time.
c. Analyze data to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for optimization or enhancement.
d. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement changes based on data-driven recommendations.
e. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in app performance monitoring and analysis to continually improve MMentor App.

8. Perform any related task assigned by the Marketing Director.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or IT related Field.
• Experience in managing App or Tech-Start-up
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus, preferably in the education or technology sector.
• Knowledge of business process modeling and requirements elicitation techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and principles.
• Knowledge of continuous quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO QMS, TQM) is a plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge in all MS Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word,)
• Strong networking skills with the ability to establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, investors, and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively.
• Knowledge of education technology trends and familiarity with app development processes.
• Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure program success.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel for conferences and meetings as required.
• Experience in mentoring or education-related roles is a plus.
