Job Description

1. Market Research and Analysis:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments relevant to the company’s products and services.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.

2. Idea Generation and Conceptualization:
• Facilitate idea-generation sessions and brainstorming workshops across various departments to foster a culture of innovation and creativity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate new product concepts, service offerings, and process improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate and prioritize ideas based on feasibility, market demand, and strategic alignment.

3. Project Management and Execution:
• Lead the development and implementation of R&D projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams, to drive project execution and achieve project goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

4. Technology Assessment and Integration:
• Assess emerging technologies and evaluate their potential applicability to the company’s products, processes, and business models.
• Collaborate with technology partners, vendors, and research institutions to explore opportunities for technology integration and collaboration.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and best practices to enhance competitiveness and drive innovation within the organization.

5. Continuous Improvement and Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement across all areas of the business.
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies and initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the impact of R&D efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in research and development, product management, or innovation management roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret market data and trends.
• Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project execution.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of continuous quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO QMS, TQM) is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial engineering principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge in all MS Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word,)
• Comprehensive knowledge in data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft excel, Airtable or tableau, statistical software such as SPSS or R for advance data analysis
• Knowledge in product design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks or any PLM software
• Knowledge in Project management Software like Asana, Trello or Jira.
